As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the electronics and firmware design of innovative products, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to bring concepts to life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the digital and analogue electronics and firmware design from concept through to production, considering requirements, timelines, costs, and regulatory constraints.
  • Design system architectures and concepts that meet project needs.
  • Utilize Altium Designer CAD tool for schematic and board layout design.
  • Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes to ensure functionality.
  • Capture specifications and requirements effectively.
  • Engage in hands-on soldering and fault-finding activities.
  • Support EMC and electrical safety compliance initiatives.
  • Generate cost models and conduct RoHS analysis and compilation.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 8+ years of design experience in digital and analogue electronics. Exceptional candidates with less experience but outstanding ability will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in embedded programming (C, FPGA VHDL) with experience in C++, .NET, C#, Java, Python, or algorithm development being advantageous.
  • CAD Skills: Familiarity with Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Exposure to EMC compliance design techniques and safety standards is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent report writing skills with a keen attention to detail; capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to clients.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to engage in additional systems elements within projects, such as thermal and optical considerations.
  • Software Proficiency: Competent with Microsoft Office products.
  • Team Player: A hands-on, self-motivated individual eager to learn and contribute to the evolution of the R&D department.
