Job Title: Math's and English Tutors for SEN College Pupils (Aged 16-25)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Various sites around Kent (farm-based locations, so prepare for a cozy countryside environment!)
Role Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Math's and English Tutors to join our team. You'll be teaching small groups of SEN college pupils aged 16 to 25 years old, with class sizes ranging from 6 to 8 pupils. You will have Teaching Assistants (TAs) in the class, depending on the needs of the pupils, ensuring you have the support you need.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach entry-level to Level 2 Math's and English.
Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to help students achieve their potential.
Utilise project-based programmes to enhance learning experiences.
About Us: We provide a nurturing environment with an ambitious curriculum aimed at learners aged 16-19 (and up to 25 with an Educational and Health Care Plan). We offer a range of qualifications through Pearson, NCFE, and SEG, ensuring our students develop transferable skills through Vocational Qualifications integrated with English and Mathematics.
Recognising that academic achievement is only part of the skills and knowledge young people need, we provide bespoke interventions, a Personal Development Programme, Enrichment activities, Progression support, and work opportunities to help students develop personally, socially, emotionally, and in life skills.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only
Working hours: 9am to 5pm (Teaching hours: 10am to 3.15pm)
