We are looking to recruit a Mill Operative to work with our Manufacturing client who is based on the outskirts of Ashford, on a full time temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business who is one of the leaders within their market and offer an excellent package for their staff.
Duties and responsibilities for the role of Assembly Operative
- Feeding products in a variety of different machinery
- Use different hand tools including tape measures, drills, nail guns and screw drivers
- Resize and sand materials for re use
- You will be able to follow direction well and demonstrate a good eye to detail
Skills required for the role of Assembly Operative
- Must be able to work in a continuous environment
- Must be able to lift heavy items including bending
- Must have used power tools previously
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE including dusk masks
- Must be able to work in a physical role
Requirements
- Due to the remote location, own transport will be required.
