The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for a busy client of ours based in Ashford, Kent.

Pay:11.44-11.75

Shifts:

M-F 07:00- 15:00/ 08:00-16:00

Valid Counterbalance Forklift License Desired but not Essential.

Job Description:

The role of this position is to run one, two or three of the machines in the production department, the bottling line, the disgorging line and the labelling machine. As aProduction Operativeyou will need to be diligent, an eye for detail and self-starting in afast paced, high tempoproduction environment. They must be willing to learn, as well as train in a wide array of skill sets and job functions. You must also be happy to doheavy liftingandmanual workwhen needed.

Reporting and Communications:

  • You will report to Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager
  • Internal: Assistant Production Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager.

Production activities:

  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment in the Production Department
  • Set up and run one of, if not more, the bottling line, disgorging line and labelling line.
  • Clean and maintain their respective line/machines and workplace areas.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks/shipments.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Procedures and protocols:

  • Follow Health and Safety protocols.
  • Ensure QC procedures are followed.
  • Learn and regularly review the three part job descriptions for each relevant work station.
  • Assist training new Production Hands/Operatives.
