Please note this position is working in a quiet, professional office. The team do enjoy annual events such as Murder mysteries and Escape rooms should you wish to take part. If you are someone who enjoys maintaining order and efficiency, then this role may be perfect for you!

Job title: Part time Filing person

Location: Ashford, Kent

Hours: Monday - Friday, approximately 20 hours a week between 8:30am - 3pm

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 FTE

Start date: The current person is leaving at the end of December and our client would like a handover for training

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and maintain files in a systematic and efficient manner.
  • Track and retrieve files as needed, ensuring their timely availability.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of documents and records.
  • Monitor the inventory of supplies and request replacements as necessary.
  • Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet filing objectives.

Key requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience working in a filing position is essential
  • Experience working in a professional office is essential e.g. a Solicitors
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office.
  • The ability to work in a standalone position, with periods of time filing alone.
