Our client is looking for a Air/Ocean Import/Export Operations Clerk

Role Description

This full-time role is for a Air/Ocean - Import/Export Operations professional at our location in Colnbrook. As an Import/Export Operations specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of import and export processes from start to finish. This includes managing transportation logistics, coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, handling documentation, and communicating with clients, vendors, and internal teams. This role is on-site and involves working closely with our team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

Qualifications

Prior experience in import/export operations or logisticsStrong knowledge of customs regulations, documentation, and international trade processes. Including but not limited to Homeuse, Cities, Carnet, BRG, IPR, CFSPExcellent organisational and multitasking skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracyProficiency in using logistics software (Multi freight), CDS and Microsoft Office suite

Additional qualifications and certifications in supply chain management or international trade are a plus.

Experience: 3+ years in the Freight industry

Salary based on experience

The hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
