Agricultural Parts Advisor

Location: Great Chart, Kent

Competitive Salary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week

Saturday mornings, 08:00 - 12:00 on a rota basis

We are seeking a motivated Agricultural Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for agriculture and strong customer service skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

  • Working closely with the service department to coordinate the availability of parts for repairs.
  • Assisting customers in identifying and sourcing the correct products and parts for agricultural and garden machinery.
  • Proactively identifying customer’s spare parts requirements both in-store and via phone/email.
  • Providing technical advice and support to customers, both in-store and via phone/email.
  • Handling parts enquiries and processing orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining an organised and well-stocked parts department.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and managing stock levels.
  • Following up on shortages and damages and flagging issues with the depot Parts Manager.
  • Helping to prepare and maintain merchandise displays within the showroom.
  • Assisting in the annual stock take programme.
  • Partaking in the organisation and running of shows with garden machinery equipment.

You may be required to provide out-of-hours cover as required,

Key Competencies

  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery and parts.is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate. Experience in using parts management systems is desirable but not essential - training will be given.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Flexible approach to work.
