Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join the team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals. The successful candidate will provide high-quality musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to patients, helping them achieve optimal recovery and function. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about MSK care and working within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist MSK physiotherapy assessment and treatment to a varied caseload.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
- Support patients in self-management strategies and rehabilitation programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS policies.
- Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students.
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Proven MSK experience at Band 6 level or strong Band 5 experience looking to step up.
- Strong knowledge of MSK conditions, rehabilitation techniques, and exercise prescription.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- NHS experience is mandatory (minimum 6 months).
