Harris Hill are delighted to be working on behalf of Beech Grove School to recruit an outstanding Teacher of Science for September 2025. The post would entail teaching primarily Physics and Chemistry to Years 12 & 13.

Set in the beautiful leafy village of Nonington, Beech Grove School believes in educating the whole child so that pupils are able to thrive in all their pursuits beyond the school gates and serve as role models in later life. This is done by ensuring small class sizes of about 6-8 students per class.

The school was judged to be 'good' overall in its most recent inspection last year and noted as 'outstanding' for its Sixth-Form provision, personal development of pupils, and student behaviour and attitudes.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Physics and/or Chemistry at KS5 or applications from strong ECTs or postgraduates would also be warmly considered.

Desired: Experience teaching Physics and/or Chemistry at A level would be a bonus; however, this is certainly not essential.
