The strategically important Bid Manager role comes with a salary of up to 55,000.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Bids you will:
- Identify and assess suitability of new bid opportunities through monitoring Local Authority and Waste Procurement websites and portals, including Proactis, Delta, and Tenders Direct, as well as following up on senior management-directed leads.
- Prepare and deliver findings and bid recommendations to the leadership team for submission to the Board, ensuring key risks and opportunities are effectively communicated.
- Lead on the preparation, presentation, and submission of proposed bidding strategies to the Board, including details of any proposed subcontractors.
- Lead and own the cradle-to-grave bid management process, ensuring resources are coordinated to complete all bids within relevant timelines.
- Read and understand all tender documents, such as specifications, financial models, and evaluation criteria, to ensure comprehensive and compliant submissions.
- Draft method statements and prepare financial models, ensuring that all bids are competitive, commercially robust, and presented to a consistently high standard.
