We are seeking dedicated and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and support schools in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to for a full-time role within one school or someone looking for flexibility.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students stay on task.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Support students’ learning and encourage positive engagement.
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher on lesson outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualifications: Minimum of English and Mathematics GCSE at Grade C or above.
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Personal Qualities: Reliable, flexible, and able to remain calm under pressure. A positive attitude towards students and a commitment to their educational development is essential.
