Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Ashford. This is an exciting opportunity to support the learning and development of children with diverse learning needs. As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide essential classroom cover during staff absences, ensuring that the students are engaged and supported throughout their lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students with SEN, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring all students remain focused and engaged.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring that the students are safe and productive.
• Assist with any individual or group support as required.
• Liaise with teaching staff and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to ensure students’ individual needs are met.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably in an SEN or educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students with varied learning needs.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a passion for working with children.
• A commitment to ensuring that all students reach their full potential.
