A new instruction with a key client for an HR Assistant which is presented on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months and offers the attractive working from home.

We are looking for someone personable and professional to join a friendly and professional HR Team within an organisation that delivers outstanding customer service to a variety of self-pay, private medical insured, and NHS patients with sites in and around, Ashford, Canterbury, Ramsgate and Deal.

Where is the position based?

Although this is predominantly a working from home role, a driving licence is essential, as you would be required to:

Attend a once fortnightly HR Team Day in their office in Deal

Plus

Realistically, live within 45 minutes to an hour from each of their sites mentioned above for any "occasional/ad hoc" site meeting as and when required. It is important to qualify these are not required every week simply as and when.

The Ideal Person:

The role is considered ideal for someone with a recruitment background as the HR Assistant will play a key role in proving an efficient and responsive HR service to the organisation, with an emphasis on recruitment, ie. liaising with recruitment agencies currently on their preferred agency supplier list, combined with general HR administrative duties, including maintaining HR files, advertising vacancies supporting candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, taking notes at any disciplinary meetings.

Essential/Desirable Knowledge and Experience:

Desirable:

CIPD level 3

Any experience using HR system

Any experience working within a hospital/related environment

Essential:

Proven experience working within a busy HR or recruitment environment

Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook

Ability to take notes at formal meetings

Proven experience of assisting with recruitment

Able to maintain strict levels of confidentiality

Able to work under pressure

Attention to detail

Excellent customer service capabilities

Maths and English Grade C or above GCSE

£13.00 per hour

30 hours per week

9am - 5pm

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with Thursday your scheduled day off.
