Inspection & Despatch Operative

Diamond Search Recruitment are excited to be representing our client, a well-established, successful, and exciting design & manufacturing business. Recruiting for a Inspection & DespatchOperative based in Ashford, Kent.

Salary:

Up to £28,000 + £30,000 per annum + Bonus incentive

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm

Benefits:

25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Company Bonus Incentive (after qualifying period) 14-16% of annual earning potential dependant on the profitability of the business, paid quarterly, Company Pension Scheme: Employer 7%, Employee 5% minimum contribution.

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking detailed quality inspections during and after paint applications to ensure standards, procedures and expectations are being upheld.
• Upon completion of the paint application, re-dress the products with the appropriate hardware, inclusive of cutting mesh to the required measurement and ensure all is completed on the door prior to packaging process.
• Upon satisfactory inspection of finished goods, packaging each product carefully to eliminate transport damage ready for despatch.
• Assisting with the loading of goods ready for despatch to the customer, ensuring correct labelling is on the packaging.
• Provide potential paint process timings/schedules as required by the business.
• To contribute towards the construction and implementation of continuous improvement programs within the Paint shop area and due processes.
• To ensure all working practices and operation of machinery is conducted within the appropriate company or legislative Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Experience working in a Despatch Environment
• Good attention to detail and pride in the finished product
• Good health & safety awareness
