The Role We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Fundraiser to help secure vital funding that enables us to continue and expand our work. You will be responsible for researching and applying for grants, building relationships with donors, and identifying new funding opportunities to support our programmes and services.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Research and apply for grants from trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders, corporate partners, and individual donors. 
  • Create compelling funding proposals and reports that align with Repton Community Trust’s vision. 
  • Explore new income streams, including community fundraising and sponsorship opportunities. 
  • Monitor funding applications, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met. 
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align fundraising efforts with organisational goals. 

About You: 

  • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or income generation. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive funding applications. 
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including funders and community partners. 
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Passion for community development and making a difference in people’s lives.
