Field Based HR Case Manager, Kent/Remote with Regional/National Travel, Perm, 37,000 - 43,000 plus car and excellent benefits.

Our client is a leading and growing organisation with an enviable brand and reputation. To support a period of growth, they are now looking for an experienced HR/ER Specialist to join their existing HR team as an HR Case Manager.

Supporting the People Team and wider HR function as HR Case Manager/ER Specialist you will be responsible for providing high quality and accurate end to end case management support on all aspects of people policy. Dealing with a high volume of cases within your region, you will be tasked with understanding issues and being able to guide and coach to ensure a positive resolution, specifically in relation to the management of serious conduct matters, capability, employee concerns and employee relations issues, including the management of suspensions and investigations. This includes reviewing investigation reports and complex letters or communications.

Some key duties include:

  • Delivery of high quality and consistent advice on all aspects of people policy in line with agreed SLAs
  • Maintain expert knowledge of policy & procedure
  • Provide managers with risk-based options to help guide with decision making
  • Coach and develop management capability
  • Provide end to end case management support including complex and high-risk ER cases
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders


As HR Case Manager/ER Specialist you will need to be a great team player with the ability to coach and provide robust advice. You will deliver effective responses with sound judgement on a variety of ER issues. Essentially you must be able to manage a varied workload and build strong relationships with your stakeholders providing them with risk-based options and driving accountability and capability to make the decisions. Previous experience within a case management/ER specialist role is essential. Ideally you will be level 5 CIPD qualified as a minimum with 3 years' experience in an advisory role within a complex and customer focussed environment. You must be able to drive and be happy with covering a national remit. A car will be provided as part of renumeration.
