Job Title: Assistant IT Manager
Location: Ashford
Job Type: Full time/permanent - Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (Based on site)
Salary:29,000 per annum

In this role, you will assist in managing the network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, efficiency, and security. You will work closely with the IT Manager to support the ongoing operations and development of network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT Manager with the day to day running of the network.
  • Maintain all IT resources (hardware, software and infrastructure) and contribute directly to the development of skills and resources.
  • To contribute to system/package reviews and support their implementation.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for network systems to end-users.
  • Assist in the configuration and management of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
