Our client, a key player in the rail industry, is seeking experienced P-Way Technicians for a long-term contract role based in Kent. This position involves routine inspections and maintenance of permanent way infrastructure, ensuring the safety and functionality of the rail network. The role offers mid-week days with possible weekend overtime, providing a stable and challenging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance activities on permanent way infrastructure
- Identifying and checking faults and hazards
- Collaborating with team members to rectify issues
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed and records are maintained accurately
- Following all Health and Safety procedures
Job Requirements:
- Experience in P-Way maintenance
- Strong knowledge of maintenance equipment and techniques
- Current PTS/Sentinel ticket
- COSS competence preferred
- Competency in TR06 Track Inspection, TR07 053 detailed switch inspection, and TR07 054 detailed crossing inspection
- UK Driving Licence
