About the Role

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in supply chain administration? We have an exciting opportunity for a Replenishment Officer to join our client's Supply Chain Department in Ashford.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration within the department, ensuring the timely ordering of stock and maintaining excellent communication across multiple teams. This position requires a proactive team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage stock replenishment, supplier coordination, and logistics.

Key ResponsibilitiesStock & Supply Chain Management
  • Place orders for frozen vegetables, fruit, and herbs across group sites and external suppliers.
  • Monitor shortages and ensure timely stock deliveries to meet demand.
  • Create delivery plans for all inter-company (ICO) sites.
  • Maintain a daily shortage list, tracking supply issues and resolving them efficiently.
  • Process and monitor purchase orders, ensuring supplier confirmations align with delivery dates.
  • Manage 3rd party purchase orders, follow up on shipments, process receipts, and handle returns if necessary.
  • Investigate and reconcile invoice anomalies, approving invoices as required.
  • Maintain SAP records, inputting data on suppliers, pricing, and purchase info records (PIR).
  • Monitor outstanding purchase orders in SAP and follow up with suppliers as necessary.
Communication & Coordination
  • Liaise with Customer Services to handle customer inquiries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the admin team during holidays, training, or absence.
  • Cover for the Transport & Logistics Planner, including organising transport, issuing freight numbers, and updating SAP.
  • Provide support to the Supply Chain Manager, including production planning and managing slow-moving stock.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a supply chain or logistics environment (Essential).
  • Experience using SAP (Preferred, but training will be provided).
  • Strong computer literacy, including Outlook, Word, and Excel (Essential).
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving supply chain issues.
