About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our team in Ashford. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of up to £75,000, and we are looking for a professional with experience in water-based paints and a strong background in vehicle spray painting.
As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles, mixing paint to ensure an exact match, and spraying vehicles to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience and will be committed to achieving top-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for spray painting, ensuring all surfaces are ready
- Mix paint accurately to ensure a perfect match with the vehicle
- Perform spray painting tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct quality checks on all completed work to ensure high standards and no defects
- Collaborate with the team to ensure an efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician in the automotive industry
- Extensive hands-on experience working with water-based paints
- City Guilds qualification or equivalent ATA accreditation preferred
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques
- Stable work history, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, meeting deadlines
