Exciting Career Opportunity!Supportive and Welcoming Team Culture!Renowned Law Firm in the Legal 500!We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Legal Secretary to become an integral part of a prestigious, local law firm, offering vital support to their esteemed Private Client team based in Ashford. Known for its exceptional employee retention, this is a brilliant chance to join a dynamic and flourishing office environment!You will collaborate closely with a small, friendly team within a stunning office setting, where teamwork and mutual support are central to the company ethos.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Supporting one Senior and one Junior Fee Earner within a busy department, your role will cover a range of responsibilities, such as:
  • Organising appointments and managing schedules
  • Communicating with clients
  • Preparing legal documents
  • Undertaking audio transcription
  • Managing files, including case creation, closure, and archiving using the case management system
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a Legal Secretary role, ideally within Private Client work, though experience in other legal sectors will also be considered
  • Competency in audio transcription and document preparation
  • Excellent organisational abilities and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative team environment
