Welcoming and Supportive Team Culture!Well-Regarded Legal 500 Practice!An excellent opening has arisen for a seasoned Legal Secretary to become part of a reputable and long-standing law firm, offering vital support within their respected Wills and Probate team based in Ashford. Known for exceptional staff retention, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively and committed working environment!You’ll be part of a friendly, tight-knit group in a stylish, modern office where teamwork and mutual support are key values.Main Duties:Supporting both a Senior and Junior Fee Earner in a dynamic environment, tasks will involve:
  • Coordinating meetings and maintaining calendars
  • Communicating with clients in a professional manner
  • Composing and formatting legal correspondence
  • Digital dictation and transcribing
  • Managing files throughout the lifecycle, including final archiving through a case management platform
Required Skills & Background:
  • Prior experience in a Legal Secretary role, ideally within the Private Client sector, though backgrounds in other legal areas will also be considered
  • Competence in digital dictation and document production
  • Highly organised with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, collaborative office
