Our client is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join them.

Main focus of the role is to assist and support the UK Service & Installation Manager with the day to day planning and supervison of the Tech Centre operations including allocation of work to the warehouse operations team.

Duties include:

• Ensure Radiation Protection Supervisor responsibilities are in place within the team and relevant qualification and training requirements are facilitated.

• Maintain and Enforce Radiation Procedure

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the technical warehouse operatives

• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy for updating systems and records, reusable catalogue (FM) DEMS, Oracle & Elton etc.

• Assisting the team with reporting any defects or missing items to the Operations team and follow escalation process for performance issues, updating tracker reports.

• Assist visiting customer engineers.

• Complete Engineering timesheets against systems / Job reference (FM).

• Management of managed customer tool kits, including ordering of consumables and replacement tools from suppliers.

• Provide safety data sheets to the Health and Safety manager for any chemical products.

• Constantly review processes and systems and recommend improvements and changes.

• Organise all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff.

• Assist in the managing of stock control: goods receipt, storage, retrieval and timely picking of goods, shipment loading & transferring, document recording to include consumable orders and tracking.

• Ensure that stock checks and monthly and annual checks/audits are undertaken and are accurate.

• Investigate and report on any warehouse issues for damaged or missing stock.

• Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse.

• Ensure that all processes are adhered to.

• Performing Stock Checks and working with internal / external auditors to check and verify locations.

• Ensuring key performance indicators are recorded and provided upon request.

Essential Skills and experience:

• Hold or work towards RPS (Radiation Protection Supervisor) accreditation.

• Two year’s experience as a Senior Warehouse Operator in a high value, high tech environment is preferred.

• Excellent IT knowledge and warehouse systems knowledge essential.

• Good organisation and communication skills.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

• Warehouse Admin, stock control including perpetual stock checks and reporting
