Excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing specialist company, with the chance to make your own mark on the production process, and to develop yourself with valuable training.

Are you Mechanically and Electrically skilled? Do you have experience working on manufacturing machinery?

This company specialise in the design and manufacture of specialist solutions for clients in the aviation and defense industries. They have doubled in size over the past few years and are looking to expand their manufacturing capabilities in order to meet the demands of their customers. As a result, they are looking to take on a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve the manufacturing process.

In this role you will be maintaining and setting up specialised manufacturing machinery, ensuring that the manufacturing process runs smoothly and up to AS9100 standard. You will also be analysing the manufacturing process for improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity. Part of your responsibilities will be liaising with other companies within the group to suggest manufacturing improvements.

This role would ideally suit a candidate who has experience in an aerospace manufacturing background, with at least a Green Belt Six Sigma or Lean qualification.

The Role:

* Manufacturing Engineer (Electro-Mechanical)
* Maintaining and setting up specialist manufacturing machinery
* Ensuring process runs to AS9100 standards
* Suggesting improvements to the manufacturing process
* 40,000 - 50,000 + Progression + Development + 31 Days' Holiday

The Person:

* Mechanical and Electrical skills
* Experience working with manufacturing machinery
* Ability to analyse manufacturing processes for improvements
* Lean/Six Sigma highly desirable
