Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (shift)
- Job Type: Full-time, permanent - Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm to 06.00am
- Location: Ashford, Kent
- Salary: Basic salary 46,000. Including Sunday premium: 55,000 per annum
We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical disciplines to join our client's engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance of all onsite plant and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation across various areas including production lines, storage facilities, and site utilities.
Day to day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
- Conducting repair and maintenance tasks on production lines, storage facilities, and site utilities to ensure continuous operation.
- Leading by example with a hands-on approach to motivate teams and individuals to improve line performance.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with Shift Managers and Machine Operators.
- Supporting the Engineering Manager in proactively dealing with issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Striving to increase operational performance, optimise factory efficiency, and maximise equipment uptime.
Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Must hold 17th or 18th BS 7671 Electrical wiring regulations.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar multi-skilled role.
- Proficient in fault finding on power & control circuits, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and conveyor systems.
