Job Title: Social Media/Marketing Assistant Location: AshfordJob Type: Contract - Initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension/potential permanent opportunitiesHours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (Hybrid working available)Salary: £22,308 per annum (Pro rata)If you have a passion for Social Media and marketing this could be a great opportunity for you to develop skills and experience whilst working for a well established local business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update social media accounts on platforms such as Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels
- Create visually appealing and engaging content using Canva to attract and retain followers
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Monitor social media trends, analyse performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement
- Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials, including flyers and other marketing collateral
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of using social media accounts on Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
- Proficiency in using Canva or similar design tools to create visually appealing content
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with followers in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Creative thinking and a passion for social media marketing
