- Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer eager to take on diverse challenges in machinery design and innovation? We're looking for a Development Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. This role offers the opportunity to work on unique, tailored machinery and collaborate with customers around the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machinery and process equipment to meet customer specifications.
- Conduct trials and evaluate designs on-site and at customer facilities.
- Analyse equipment performance and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with the Technical Director to advance innovative technologies.
- Travel internationally to set up equipment and support customers, ensuring successful operation.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Essentials:
- Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Logical and analytical approach to solving technical challenges.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D design tools.
- Skilled in producing accurate technical drawings to industry standards.
- Willingness to travel overseas several times a year for extended periods.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands-on experience with quality inspection processes.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques, especially metalwork.
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
