Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer eager to take on diverse challenges in machinery design and innovation? We're looking for a Development Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. This role offers the opportunity to work on unique, tailored machinery and collaborate with customers around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machinery and process equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Conduct trials and evaluate designs on-site and at customer facilities.
  • Analyse equipment performance and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Work closely with the Technical Director to advance innovative technologies.
  • Travel internationally to set up equipment and support customers, ensuring successful operation.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Essentials:

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Logical and analytical approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D design tools.
  • Skilled in producing accurate technical drawings to industry standards.
  • Willingness to travel overseas several times a year for extended periods.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Hands-on experience with quality inspection processes.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing techniques, especially metalwork.
  • Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
