Responsibilities:

  • Create schematics, elevations, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, adhering to engineering directives, UK standards and CDM regulations
  • Generate and verify engineering calculations as necessary, with a clear understanding of the underlying engineering principles.
  • Support the team by conducting primary project checks and reviews, addressing issues promptly to maintain timelines and quality compliance.
  • Coordinate CAD/Revit drawings with other engineering disciplines, ensuring a collaborative understanding of all relevant engineering principles.
  • Provide assistance with AutoCAD/Revit tasks as needed.
  • While supporting the team leader, demonstrate initiative in managing and progressing design projects, ensuring deadlines are met.

The ideal Mechanical Engineer will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in building services, with a strong focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a solid understanding of their application in building services design.
  • Experience in producing engineering calculations and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and design teams.
