Purpose of the role:
You will work as part of a team servicing products to provide the business and its customers with technical support nationwide. You will accurately diagnose and remedy reported faults whilst always maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responding to jobs at agreed timescales , consulting with the wider team on any changes to schedules
  • Responsible for managing all spare parts carried on the van or specifically for Customers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and recorded accurately.
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours, as out of hours attendance including weekends may be required from time to time.
  • Working efficiently, with overnight stays where travel is prohibitive, in consultation with your line manager.
  • To be responsible for identifying/testing and return of faulty parts.
  • Oversee and report on stock levels ensuring that all stock used is booked out on Worksheets / stock sheets.
  • Complete time sheets in accordance with deadlines.
  • Be responsible for the good care of company property, including vehicles, tools & equipment, IT equipment.
  • Ensure you keep up to date with technical information and updates provided by the Technical Support Department
  • Provide all the necessary documentation for Security Clearance purposes.
  • Scheduled tasks are completed to the required standards.

Skills Required:

  • Technical competence
  • Great attention to detail
  • Logical approach to problem solving/trouble shooting
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Competent IT user - capable of use a variety of systems
  • Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's the successful applicant will be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
