Service Engineer - Monday - Friday - Worldwide Travel - 5 weeks hols with bank holidays - Pension
Location: Ashford
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 - Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
About the Role
- Assemble and install heavy machinery, tooling, and process plants.
- Travel to customer sites to install and test machinery.
- Perform machine assembly, inspection, and site maintenance.
- Provide technical support to customers worldwide, travelling 3-5 times a year for 2-5 weeks at a time.
- Work on customer-specific production equipment, designed for one-off manufacture.
We're seeking someone with:
- Qualifications: HNC or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Skills: Practical problem-solving and mechanical skills.
Experience:
- Hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Working independently and managing tasks autonomously.
- A willingness to travel internationally.
Desirable Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical power and control systems.
- Experience in inspection, quality control, and using high-precision measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with equipment installation in factory settings.
