Service Engineer - Monday - Friday - Worldwide Travel - 5 weeks hols with bank holidays - Pension

Location: Ashford

Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 - Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

About the Role

Assemble and install heavy machinery, tooling, and process plants.
Travel to customer sites to install and test machinery.
Perform machine assembly, inspection, and site maintenance.
Provide technical support to customers worldwide, travelling 3-5 times a year for 2-5 weeks at a time.
Work on customer-specific production equipment, designed for one-off manufacture.

We're seeking someone with:

Qualifications: HNC or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Skills: Practical problem-solving and mechanical skills.

Experience:

Hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Working independently and managing tasks autonomously.
A willingness to travel internationally.

Desirable Skills:

Basic knowledge of electrical power and control systems.
Experience in inspection, quality control, and using high-precision measuring equipment.
Familiarity with equipment installation in factory settings.
