We are currently seeking a Team Manager to join our client's dynamic team within the Gas industry. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service appointments, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Job title: Team Manger

Salary: £40k - £45k

Location: Ashford, Kent

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Your key responsibilities would be to:

  • Manage a team of 10-12
  • Manage the scheduling of service appointments, ensuring that bookings are optimised for customer convenience and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with customers and gas engineers to confirm appointments and gather all necessary information.
  • Coordinate with various teams within the organisation to ensure all resources and materials are available for scheduled appointments.
  • Monitor service schedules and proactively resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints related to service scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records of service appointments and generate reports as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practises in service scheduling to optimise processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Experience required for this role:

  • Previous experience managing a team and in service scheduling or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and tools.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
