Manpower are currently recruiting for a on-going temporary role for a Compounding Assistant for our client in Ashford

You will supply raw material ingredients from our warehouse and external storage areas to the shop floor for all internal and external requests to service the requirements of our customers, in line with the departmental targets.

Core responsibilities

  • Retrieval of raw materials required for production from Automated Warehouse and external storage areas
  • Locating raw material containers into designated storage areas following SAP process
  • Decanting of raw materials required for production into shop floor locations, ensuring correct labelling and SAP process
  • Handle materials and containers in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality and EHS standards
  • Able to troubleshoot basic problems independently and provide recommendations for correction
  • Maintain neat, orderly and clean shop floor and workplace at all times and complete all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required
  • Follow 5S, GMP and EHS ground rules
  • Manual handling up to 25kgs
  • Safe use of manual handling equipment such as FLT counterbalance, stacker and pallet trucks


Key skills required for the role

  • Proven literacy and numeracy skills
  • IT proficient

Ability to build strong peer relationships and work as part of a team and individually
