Working Hours:Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate:Up to 35.00 per hour
Job Description:
Trident healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a locum contract based in Ashford, Kent. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in hospital wards, and preferably with a background in emergency medicines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and manage patients' medication regimens in hospital wards.
- Provide expert advice on the use of medications, including emergency medicines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and ensure accurate patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication-related issues.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience in hospital wards is essential; experience in emergency medicines is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
