Sonic Summary

The position available is for a 1:1 Tutor in Ashford, Kent, starting ASAP on a temporary contract for ongoing work. The role offers between 1 to 6 hours of work per day, five days a week, during school hours, with a pay rate of £25 to £35 per hour. Candidates must have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a UK school and should either hold QTS status or be unqualified with two years of teaching core subjects. Experience in delivering the National Curriculum and working with students with complex needs, such as SEMH and ASC, is required. The role emphasizes exceptional behavior management skills and a commitment to safeguarding children.

We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
Prepared to work face to face within the community.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
