Job Title - Driver
Location - Ashford, Kent
Salary - £12.00 per hour
Contract Type - Temporary for 2 weeks
Schedule - Monday - Friday, 10am-14:00pm
Start Date - Tuesday 28th January 2025

We are seeking a reliable and professional driver for a two-week temporary assignment with a reputable educational provider. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting food safely and efficiently between designated locations. Your contribution will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the institution's food services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport food items between designated locations as per the provided schedule.
- Ensure the food is handled with care and delivered in good condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any delays or issues.
- Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the educational provider’s staff to coordinate delivery requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in a similar driving role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to handle food items with care, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained.
- Excellent punctuality and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards completing tasks.
