My client is a leading Mortgage Specialist based in Kingshill, Kent. Due to rapid growth, they are seeking a Product Transfer Specialist to join their efficient, friendly and close-knit team.

This exciting, varied role would suit a candidate with strong office administration and customer service experience who is now keen to work in the mortgage sector and bring their transferable skills to the team!

This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and enjoy a being working in a fast-paced environment. You will be given your own pipeline of cases to manage and track, so you'll need to be organised and able to prioritise your own workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first 'port of call' with any queries on all product transfer, product transfer plus and product switch mortgage applications.
  • Provide timely, accurate and appropriate responses to telephone calls / enquiries and any other correspondence
  • Liaise with other departments within the business throughout the journey of the applications
  • Liaise with Mortgage Brokers, updating them on the progress of cases and seeking to resolve any queries
  • Increase the product transfer pipeline by speaking with existing customers and providing reminders when their products are coming to an end
  • Inputs, updates, and maintains data in both internal and external systems accurately reflecting the current stage of each case
  • Manage own applications and deal with any relevant tasks that arise
  • Obtaining updates on the mortgage applications to ensure that they are progressing smoothly from submission to completion
  • Dealing with phone calls, both incoming and outgoing
  • Chasing outstanding documentation, reports and information
  • Arranging valuations and liaising with valuers to arrange valuations
  • Actioning and reviewing the final checks prior to completion of the application.
