Job Title: Valuation Surveyor
Location: Kent
Rate: 450 per day

Job Description:
A local authority in Kent is seeking an experienced Valuation Surveyor to join their team on a 3-month contract. The role involves providing professional asset valuation services, assisting with the assessment and valuation of a variety of properties within the authority's portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property valuation and public sector experience. The position requires working 3 days a week in the office, with the remaining time flexible for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct asset valuations for a diverse range of property types
• Provide accurate and reliable valuation advice
• Support the management of property portfolios
• Ensure compliance with relevant valuation standards and procedures
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties as necessary

Qualifications/Experience:

• MRICS (or equivalent) qualification preferred
• Proven experience in asset/property valuation, particularly within local government or public sector
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
