Quality Coordinator – Ashford

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator for our reputable client that specializes in the production and distribution of frozen vegetables, fruits, and herbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete technical reports and database administration.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for compliance with specifications.
  • Contribute to customer complaint investigations and audits.
  • Support generation of quality statements (e.g., Certificates of Analysis) and calibrate measuring equipment.
  • Step up to cover for the Technical Coordinator when needed.
  • Perform GMP, Fabrication and Glass audits
  • Assist in Pest control inspections and maintain product sample databases.
  • Prepare and send samples for lab testing and conduct allergen/rapid testing.
  • Manage environmental control testing and retention library samples.
  • Conduct internal audits (Glass, Packaging, CCPs), log laboratory samples, and monitor product quality.
  • Lead Daily taste panels, temperature checks and collaborate across departments.
  • Conduct daily taste panels, record results, and publish to wider teams the results.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the team’s service delivery.
  • Support health and safety requirements, propose improvement, and ensure QMS documentation is updates.
  • Trend data and generate reports in the SAP system for due diligence

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2
  •  3+ years’ experience in food manufacturing (preferred)
  • Proficiently in MS Office and good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Understanding of microbiology and food safety hazards
  • Flexible and proactive attitude.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
