We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone looking toadvance their career within the construction sector.We are currently seeking a passionate Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor based in Ashford.

The Role: Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time and within budget. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the quantity surveying team in managing the financial aspects of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the management of procurement processes and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project progress.
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for all constructionsector projects.
Monitor project costs and assist in implementing cost control measures.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation.

Requirements:

Relevant experience or internships in construction quantity surveying, preferably on educationprojects
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is advantageous.
