Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a well established Main Contractor seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Kent.
The Client are a leading utility service provider with the majority of their work delivered within long-term Alliance and framework contracts. Their focus is on delivering efficiently through developing innovative ways of working to ensure excellence in service to our clients and their customers, whilst satisfying regulators demands.
They are known for their excellent delivery of technical projects and their professional approach to the delivery of these schemes. My client presents themselves as a consistently reliable major contractor.
The successful candidate will be able to assist the Senior Surveyor, shadowing them and learning on the job with the following:
* Cost control, planning, forecasting and estimation.
* Valuations - including value engineering and management.
* Feasibility studies.
* Cost benefit analysis.
* Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)..
