Role:

An opportunity has come available for a Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist contractor working on multiple Network Rail station upgrade schemes.

To be considered for this role you will need to come from a rail or build background and have a strong experience working closely with construction team to ensure the project is delivered successfully, while maintaining relationships, maximising commercial returns and manage risk.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/cs, negotiation & finalise s/c orders, financial & commercial management of s/cs to Final Account completion.
  • Reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, variation reporting, valuations.
  • Work closely with the site team to assist with any commercial challenges.
  • Oversee and assist with the trainee and assistant surveyors.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in report writing, forecast planning.
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on Rail or Build projects.
