Bracken Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of experienced Quantity Surveyors for one of our clients covering utilities contracts in the Kent region.
Our Client is a multi-disciplined Engineering Contractor delivering projects that are time and safety critical within the Utilities sector.
The client offers clear career progression and a fantastic working environment.

This position would suit someone from a Civil Engineering background and with previous experience within the utilities sector.
The successful candidate will be one of the lead Quantity Surveyors on this prestigious project

Skills & Experience:

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge within Civil Engineering – especially within the utilities sector
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Experience using the NEC form of contract
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
• Strong time management skills
• Hard working and ambitious

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or the equivalent)
