Kent Recruitment Bureau is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a not-for-profit that needs a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruitment Assistant to join the HR team

As the charity continues to grow, the HR team will support the recruitment process to ensure the attraction and retention of high-quality candidates.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CIPD Level 3
  • Previous experience in a recruitment administrative role
  • Experience working with HR Systems with recruitment functions or standalone applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience working with multiple contract types such as Term Time, Annualised and zero hour.
  • Understanding of recruitment practices and best practices
  • Recruitment requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • You should have a high level of organisational skills, be efficient and results-orientated, and have good time management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and the ability to use them effectively

What will you be doing:

  • Supporting the recruitment processes: Drafting job adverts, posting job adverts, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate communication.
  • Recruitment Administration: Manage the recruitment inbox, process applications, ensure compliance with GDPR, and manage pre-employment checks.
  • Onboarding Support: Prepare contracts, assist with inductions, and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with hiring managers, update job descriptions, and align recruitment activities with HR processes.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Assist in implementing inclusive recruitment strategies.
  • Reporting & Data: provide reports to the Head of HR & Training by tracking key recruitment metrics
