We are looking for an exceptional Front of House Manager / or Front of House Supervisor, for a gastro pub with rooms, located near Charing, Kent. Please note transport is required due to location.

As the Front of House Manager / or Front of House Supervisor, you will be developing your team and assisting with the recruitment of new staff, whilst delivering high volume sales through proactive innovation and events.

Working closely with the Head Chef and the owners you will ensure the success of the pub, through strong and enthusiastic leadership, whilst developing, managing, and motivating teams.

You will lead and evolve the operational standards as well as assisting with commercial expectations, through a good understanding of GP, P&L and labour costs

As the Front of House Manager / or Front of House Supervisor you will be / have:

  • You will be independent and self-sufficient, confident in making clear business decisions and being able to deliver a structured plan in a fast-paced commercial restaurant environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with a real interest in business trends within the pub industry and a business savvy mind set, maximising profits, and reducing costs
  • Ambition and drive, being standards driven to achieve all operational standards and commercial targets
  • A passion for great food and drink, express real enthusiasm and love for the fresh food and the array of drinks on offer
  • Engagement with the local community to develop trade, improve the reputation of the pub
  • Health & safety aware always, ensuring that health and safety procedures are maintained, monitored, and recorded correctly
  • Proficient in IT, with an understanding of spread sheets and social media
  • Hands on
  • Be available to work evenings and week-ends when this property is busy

The salary for Front of House Supervisor / or as Front of House Manager is given as from £27,000 - £36,000 / per annum / plus a share of the gratuities / Live out only / Transport is required due to location and shift work.
