Exceptional History Teacher Wanted in Ashford!
Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for an enthusiastic History Teacher for an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in the Ashford area. The role is to start ASAP and will be until the end of the academic year! The role will be full time with a salary of between £31,650 and £49,084 depending on experience.
The role:
- Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
- Foster a deep appreciation for History and its relevance to the modern world
- Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a History Teacher across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent behaviour management
- Strong communication skills
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
