Role and Responsibilities for the PE Teacher position:

• You will work as a full-time PE teacher in a busy secondary school.
• You will be responsible for planning the lessons for all year groups, marking their work and coaching their sessions.
• You will assist the children in achieving their GCSE in PE and continuous studies.
• You will support and encourage physical and mental well-being through exercise along with healthy eating and making sensible choices.
• You will teach a range of sports and physical activities to students of different ages and abilities
• You will participate in school events and activities, contributing to the vibrant school community.

Requirements:

• You must be a qualified teacher and have your certificate.
• You must have a strong knowledge of PE and a wide range of sports and how to teach that to children of varying ages and abilities.
• You need to be a kind, caring and compassionate person who truly cares about the children they are working with and want to make a difference.
• You will need to be hard-working and committed to the schools you are working in and be a fantastic team player and be able to work collaboratively with other members of staff.
