Positions Available: Short and Long-term

Responsibilities:

  • Create dynamic lesson plans that stimulate critical thinking and encourage active participation.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailored to diverse learners' needs and interests.
  • Cultivate a positive classroom environment promoting inclusivity, respect, and open-mindedness.
  • Develop engaging activities, projects, and assessments for independent and collaborative learning.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to students, aiding in the development of their analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum objectives, share best practices, and contribute to a cohesive educational program.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in science, integrating current research and real-world examples into lessons.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to ensure a holistic educational experience.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, including relevant theories, research methods, and contemporary issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
