About the Role: We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and empathetic Secondary Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at our Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Ashford. You will work with students who have a variety of learning and developmental needs, ensuring that they receive a high-quality education tailored to their individual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering lessons to students with a range of SEN, including autism, dyslexia, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and support their learning.
- Assessing students’ progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Supporting students' social and emotional development in addition to their academic progress.
- Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to the needs of each individual student.
