What You’ll Be Doing as a Community Care Coordinator:
- Be the main point of contact for Clients and Care Workers, ensuring excellent communication and care
- Manage staff rostering to ensure care is delivered safely and effectively to those with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
- Support care workers in managing challenging behaviour, helping to create care plans that address individual needs and promote positive outcomes
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic, person-centred care
- Supervise, motivate, and appraise care workers, supporting them in handling challenging situations with confidence and compassion
- Handle safeguarding issues, incidents, and complaints, always focusing on delivering solutions and support
- Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards
What We Need From You:
- Full UK driving license (essential for supporting your team across Ashford)
- Experience in working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour – you’re familiar with strategies to support individuals and maintain a calm, compassionate environment
- Strong communication skills – able to handle sensitive conversations with empathy
- Organised, calm under pressure, and capable of multitasking with ease
- A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork and achieving high-quality care
